AMLA opens consultations on draft anti-money laundering standards and guidelines

The EU Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA) opened consultations on draft group-wide requirements and business-wide risk assessment standards under the EU Anti-Money Laundering Regulation, the Malta Gaming Authority said. Responses on the draft standards are due by 15 June 2026, and feedback on the guidelines by 15 July 2026; the MGA also noted an 8 May deadline for earlier consultations.
The draft requirements and guidance could shape anti-money laundering obligations relevant to gaming operators.
