AGCOM opens consultation on betting infotainment guidelines in Italy
Italy’s AGCOM has approved a public consultation on updated guidance for gambling and betting infotainment sites, according to reports citing institutional sources. The consultation document is expected to be published in the coming days, with stakeholders then given 30 days to submit comments. AGCOM plans to issue final provisions after the consultation, replacing or supplementing its 18 April 2019 resolution.
Operators publishing betting-related infotainment may need to respond to proposed changes in how betting content is regulated.
