AGCO sets Ontario conditions for catering endorsement

Regulation

Source: AGCO (Ontario)

Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO) says liquor sales licence holders can apply for a catering endorsement to sell and serve alcohol at locations outside their licensed premises. Events must be sponsored by someone other than the licensee, last no more than 10 days and not take place in a residence; unsold alcohol must return to the licensee’s stock. The endorsement is free and does not permit promotion of an event where alcohol is sold.

Licensees must meet event, venue and stock-handling conditions when serving alcohol away from their premises.
