AGCO requires online licensing for Ontario thoroughbred racing participants

Licences & markets

Source: AGCO (Ontario)

Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) requires individuals and businesses involved in thoroughbred racing to hold valid licences. Since 2 March 2020, applicants and licensees have had to complete horse-racing transactions online through iAGCO; paper applications are not accepted.

Racing participants and track operators must use iAGCO for licensing and renewals in Ontario.
