AGCO outlines Ontario rules for wine bar endorsement

Regulation

Source: AGCO (Ontario)

Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO) says liquor sales licence holders can apply for a wine bar endorsement to sell and serve wine they make at the licensed premises where it was produced. The endorsement has no fee; eligible holders may also sell wine for takeaway or delivery if they meet regulatory requirements. Applicants must describe their production processes and methods.

The endorsement defines where producers may serve their wine and the conditions for takeaway sales and delivery.
