ADM anti-fraud director cites 778 checks in Italy’s illegal-gambling response
Sergio Gallo, the Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency’s anti-fraud director, said the agency and law enforcement carried out 778 interventions over 12 days. Speaking at the ADM conference in Rome, he identified underage gambling and match-fixing as risks and called for targeted controls and updated, proportionate rules.
