The Cundinamarca Lottery said it transferred more than COP12,000m to health funding in Colombia during the first nine months of 2026. Of this, COP9,343m went to health services in the department, with figures recorded to 30 September.

The Dominican Republic’s Directorate General of Gambling (DGJA) identified seven authorised online betting operators and about 81 platforms and companies without state permits. The authority said rules for new licences remain pending because the Council of Gambling has not held its first formal session, while it assesses possible violations by unauthorised operators.
Luca Giacobbe said Italy’s Legislative Decree 41/2024 advanced responsible-gambling rules for online play but left inconsistencies with land-based gambling. Speaking at a gaming-industry panel, he also pointed to overlapping rules, obligations and authorities.
At SiGMA Central Europe in Rome, ADM remote-gambling director Antonio Giuliani said regulated gambling’s credibility depends on clear rules, player protection and responsible commercial conduct. He said the provisions in Italy’s 25 March 2024 remote-gambling reform need to be implemented by concessionaires, including measures that strengthen system security and player controls.
Italian MP Andrea de Bertoldi said the tax treatment of gaming sectors should be balanced and developed through consultation with operators, according to the report. He argued that provisions in the budget bill affecting gaming could be revisited during parliamentary scrutiny.
Chile’s Superintendence of Casinos (SCJ) reported CLP141.329m (US$143.35m) in taxes accrued by 22 casinos authorised under Law No. 19.995 from January to September 2026. The total fell 8.46% in real terms year on year, while gross gaming revenue declined 7.9% to CLP372.774m and visits fell 11.25% to 4,067,872.
