Acre governor assigns state lottery and betting oversight to SEFAZ
Acre governor Mailza Assis sanctioned Law 4,822 on 28 July 2026, assigning the state Finance Secretariat (SEFAZ) responsibility for regulating and overseeing betting and lottery services. The law also gives SEFAZ powers to authorise and license operators, inspect activities and impose administrative sanctions; it was published on 29 July.
Operators in Acre will deal with SEFAZ for state betting and lottery authorisations, oversight and administrative sanctions.
