Accel Entertainment said Chicago video gaming terminals could begin operating in Q4 2026 or Q1 2027, depending on how quickly the Illinois Gaming Board processes an application. Analysts issued views on Genius Sports, Churchill Downs, Accel Entertainment and Sportradar in notes dated 3, 4 and 9 March. Truist lowered its Genius Sports price target to $13 from $15 while retaining a Buy rating; other notes discussed company performance, potential developments and forecasts.
Analysts discussed gaming-company prospects in notes dated 8–11 January, including the effects of Chicago’s video gaming terminal policy and a proposed Maine igaming bill. One analyst said Accel Entertainment could reach a Chicago run-rate above $100 million by the end of 2027; another said DraftKings and Caesars could have exclusive online-gaming rights in Maine if the proposal becomes law.
The Roundhill Sports Betting & iGaming ETF rose nearly 3% last week, while the S&P 500 fell, according to the report. Codere Online shares gained 10.13%, and Accel Entertainment shares rose 7.3%; the report said neither move followed new company news that week. Accel had announced its acquisition of Dynasty Games’ route-operation assets on 2 December, without disclosing financial terms.
Citizens analyst Jordan Bender initiated coverage of Accel Entertainment with a market outperform rating, the report said. Bender set a $13 price target, implying nearly 24% upside from current levels, and cited the company’s balance sheet and potential growth opportunities.
Accel Entertainment said its subsidiary Century Gaming Technologies Nevada acquired Dynasty Games’ route-operation assets. The acquisition adds 20 active locations and about 123 electronic gaming terminals in Northern Nevada, while two more locations await regulatory approval. Accel said the transaction is expected to be accretive to its 2026 financial results.
