365Prediction awaits CFTC approval before planned early 2027 launch
365Prediction founder and chief executive Laila Mintas said the company is awaiting CFTC approval for applications to operate as a designated contract market and designated clearing organisation. Mintas said the company is targeting an early 2027 launch with a sports-first product, followed by political markets; approval has not yet been granted.
The approval outcome will determine whether 365Prediction can offer and settle event contracts through its own proposed structure.
