NCAA Division I members block athlete betting on professional sports
NCAA Division I members voted on 21 November to reject a rule change that would have allowed athletes and athletic department staff to bet on professional sports. More than two-thirds voted to rescind the proposal before the 24 November deadline, keeping the prohibition in place across NCAA divisions.
