The Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery said investigators executed a court-authorised search warrant at a property in Essex Junction on 19 May 2026, with police assistance. They seized poker tables, gambling-related materials and alcohol; the homeowner will be referred to a restorative justice programme and will not be charged if he completes it successfully.
