Spain’s Court of Audit said Loterías y Apuestas del Estado had not adequately answered a parliamentary request for information on €3.539bn in unclaimed prizes. The company questioned the calculation and said expired prizes return to the Treasury; the court also identified incomplete or missing documentation in 519 prize-payment files from 2023 to 2025, involving €14.79m.
