TAR Brescia suspends Bergamo police revocation of VLT hall licence

The TAR Lombardia's Brescia section upheld a precautionary appeal by the operators of a gaming hall in Trescore Balneario, suspending the Bergamo police headquarters' revocation of their VLT installation licence. The court held that busier bar trade in the early morning did not show food and drink service had become secondary to gaming. The suspension allows gaming and catering to resume; the revocation, issued on 11 August 2026, followed local police inspections on 19 June and 14 July 2026.
