Goiás courts issued preliminary orders requiring online betting platforms to display prominent warnings about gambling risks on their websites and apps, according to an account of the cases. The orders concern a group of 13 civil actions against 251 platforms, including operators licensed by Brazil's Secretariat of Prizes and Betting; at least one similar case was dismissed after the state prosecutor's office did not amend its filing as directed.
