The Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Labour gave lottery outlet owners 30 calendar days to address workplace and facility shortcomings, according to the ministry. The ministry said it will intensify nationwide inspections after the period, while retaining the power to intervene immediately if workers face health or safety risks.
