The Dominican Republic's Senate approved amendments to a bill establishing a new gambling and betting framework, reportedly on 16 September. FENABANCA said it would coordinate a technical group to propose changes during a 90-day period after the law's promulgation; the proposed framework includes powers to block unlicensed gambling sites and payment flows.
