Trinidad and Tobago Senate approves gambling age rise to 25

Trinidad and Tobago's Senate has approved legislation raising the minimum age for gambling from 18 to 25. The bill passed with all 15 government senators in favour, 12 against and three abstentions, and is set to take effect in early 2027 once President Christine Kangaloo signs it. The change follows a new online gambling framework approved earlier this month.
