FTC reviews online sports betting industry

The US Federal Trade Commission has begun a review of online sportsbooks. DraftKings and FanDuel are among the operators named, and the review is expected to examine alleged deceptive advertising and harms including suicide, hospitalisations and bankruptcies. The FTC declined to comment, and both operators said they had had no contact from the agency.
