- Cambodia arrests Prince Group head Chen Zhi on scam and trafficking charges
Cambodia’s Interior Ministry said it arrested Chen Zhi and two other Chinese nationals on 6 January and handed them to China. Chen faces charges including running multinational cyber scams, money laundering and human trafficking; the ministry said his Cambodian nationality was revoked in December. Cambodia’s gaming commission had earlier suspended licences for 14 casinos reportedly linked to the enterprise, while Prince Group has called the allegations baseless.
