- Athletics Integrity Unit sanctions three athletes over betting on teammates
The Athletics Integrity Unit found three track and field athletes guilty of betting on teammates at championship events, it said. Aurore Fleury received a six-month ban and was ordered to pay €3,000 to charity; Henrik Janssen and Steven Richter received three-month suspended bans. The AIU cited early admissions, remorse and clean disciplinary records as mitigating factors.
