Wynn considers delaying $5.1bn UAE resort opening amid construction disruption

Deals & M&A

Wynn Resorts is considering postponing the planned opening of its $5.1bn casino resort in the UAE, reportedly because of construction disruption linked to the US-Iran conflict. The opening had been scheduled for next spring; work paused temporarily before resuming in March, and a source cited in media coverage said further delays were possible. Wynn is developing the property with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding.

A possible postponement could disrupt Wynn’s planned resort opening timetable and affect its project partners.
