VNLOK urges risk-based gambling safeguards ahead of Dutch parliamentary debate
Dutch gambling trade association VNLOK published a position paper ahead of a parliamentary gambling debate scheduled for 3 September. It called for targeted protections, including shared risk detection and non-increasable limits for players up to age 23, and urged stronger action against illegal online casinos.
VNLOK’s proposals could shape debate on player safeguards, advertising and enforcement against illegal gambling in the Netherlands.
