VNLOK reports 1.2 million responsible-gambling messages in the Netherlands

Regulation

Dutch online gambling trade group VNLOK presented its first responsible-gambling monitor in The Hague, reporting on member operators’ 2025 activity. It said operators sent more than 1.2 million personalised messages and pop-ups, supported players with setting or reducing limits in more than 21,000 cases, and referred 10,847 players to specialist services.

The figures give Dutch operators and regulators a measure of member companies’ reported player-protection interventions in 2025.
