Grand Ho Tram began admitting eligible Vietnamese citizens to its casino on Monday as part of Vietnam’s expanded five-year trial of local casino gambling. Entrants must be at least 21 and show monthly income of at least VND10 million; the resort announced the plan on 17 December.
The trial lets eligible Vietnamese citizens gamble at Grand Ho Tram under stated age, income and currency conditions.

Sun International reported group income of R6.58 billion for the six months ended 30 June 2026, up 7.4% year on year. SunBet income increased 35.5% to R1.18 billion, while land-based casino income rose 1.5% to R3.4 billion; the company said early H2 revenue growth exceeded its 6% to 8% guidance range.

Bede Gaming launched its iGaming platform with Sunbet in Namibia, the companies’ third major African market together, according to the report. The platform includes sports betting, slots and live casino, with technology and content integrations from named suppliers; the companies also reported growth in Botswana during 2025.
