Sunbet, the digital division of Sun International, has renewed its contract with platform provider Bede Gaming, the company announced. The renewal extends a partnership of almost 10 years between the South African betting brand and the platform supplier.
The announcement follows Sun International's first-half 2026 financial report, which showed a 36% year-on-year rise in revenue for the digital brand and 43% growth in iGaming GGR over the same period. Sunbet operates in South Africa, Botswana and Namibia using Bede Gaming's internationally configurable platform solution.
Bede Gaming has supported Sunbet with customised features and solutions, including integrations with sportsbook provider Kambi and the Xtremepush CRM platform, according to the announcement.
Simon Gregory, chief executive of Sunbet, said the brand now operates in three markets and that Bede has supported its digital growth year after year. Kirsty Stewart, chief legal and customer success officer at Bede Gaming, said the company was proud of the relationship it has continued to build with Sunbet.
