VERSUSbet has added Mexican sports journalist Toño de Valdés to its content team, the Grupo Orenes brand announced on 23 October. The company said de Valdés will take a leading role in VERSUSbet content and activations in Mexico and will support the brand's sponsorship of Real Madrid.
VERSUSbet described de Valdés as one of the most recognised voices in Mexican sports journalism. According to the company, his career spans more than four decades covering major sporting events, from football to the NFL and baseball.
The company said de Valdés will also support the amplification of its Real Madrid sponsorship, creating exclusive content around the club and some of the major moments of the season. The partnership between VERSUSbet and Real Madrid was renewed in July for five seasons, with Latin America as the target.
VERSUSbet said de Valdés will bring his experience, personality and his particular way of living and telling sport to its community of fans.
