Veneto regional court suspends 45-day closure of Padua gaming venue

Regulation

The Veneto Regional Administrative Court urgently suspended the Padua police commissioner’s order to close a food-and-drink venue with an attached gaming room for 45 days. The court cited the irreversible harm alleged by the operator and ordered the police to submit a report and related documents; it will consider the interim application on 6 May 2026.

The temporary suspension allows the venue’s closure order to remain on hold until the court reviews the application.
