Valencian government consults on draft gambling arcade regulations

Regulation

The Generalitat Valenciana opened a public hearing on a draft decree to replace the region’s 2015 rules for recreational and gambling arcades. The proposal sets minimum premises sizes, requires electronic processing for company filings and removes prior administrative authorisation for betting operations inside gambling arcades. Businesses have 15 calendar days to submit comments.

The draft would change arcade licensing procedures, premises requirements and financial guarantees for Valencian operators.
