Regulation

The Valencian Department of Economy, Finance and Public Administration convened the Gaming Commission to advance a regional planning decree, the department said. The draft retains an 850-metre separation between gaming halls and education centres and limits new authorisations for hostelry gaming machines, with replacements excepted. The commission also approved the 2024 sector report, which recorded more than €4.636bn in total amounts wagered.

The draft would preserve location and machine-authorisation limits affecting gaming venues and operators in the region.
