UK Gambling Commission invites industry proposals to simplify gambling regulation
The UK Gambling Commission has opened a consultation inviting gambling businesses to suggest ways to reduce unnecessary regulatory burdens while maintaining consumer protections. Proposals may cover licence conditions, technical standards, reporting and regulatory processes, with submissions due by the end of September; the issue is also scheduled for discussion at the Operators Engagement Forum on 2 July 2026.
Operators can propose changes to compliance requirements for the Commission to consider in its current planning cycle.
