Trinidad and Tobago lawmakers approve remote gambling bill
Trinidad and Tobago’s House of Representatives approved legislation to establish licensing and regulation for remote gambling, the report said. Finance Minister Davendranath Tancoo said regulated gaming generated about $72.66 million in 2025 and $71.3 million so far in 2026. The Senate was expected to consider the proposal next.
The bill could create a licensing framework for remote gambling operators and bring their activity into the formal economy.
