TaDa Gaming is concentrating its UK development strategy on five indicators of a game's long-term commercial value for operators, the company said, in a report by Jamma. The provider said the approach moves beyond judging a title by its initial visibility and instead looks at the contribution each game can make to an operator's overall strategy. The five parameters are player activity, retention, commercial contribution, adaptability to different markets and growth over time.
The company described a market context of rising tax pressure, stricter player-protection requirements and growing attention to customer acquisition costs, and said it is focusing on content that can maintain positive results after launch. Its UK portfolio currently comprises more than 40 selected and certified titles, including slots, crash games and fish-shooting games. TaDa Gaming said the strategy combines international content-development experience with knowledge of the local market, using recognisable themes, distinctive mechanics and game experiences designed to sustain player interest.
The first indicator is Daily Active Users (DAU), the number of daily active users, which the company said measures a game's spread and is analysed alongside session frequency, the number of sessions per player and their average duration to establish whether initial interest becomes continuing activity. TaDa Gaming cited Leprechaun's Gold Streak, which it said recorded a 55% increase in daily active users in the first month after launch, followed by further monthly increases of about 30%. According to the provider, the figures show the title's ability to maintain a rising level of engagement after the initial distribution phase.
The second element is player retention. Comparing results at day one, day seven and day 30, together with analysis of returning users, allows operators to check whether a product continues to draw interest over time, the company said. To support this, TaDa Gaming said it has developed games built on specific mechanics, such as Gold Mine Express, Fortune Hook Antarctic and Leprechaun's Gold Streak, introducing progression systems, element collection and particular features that add to the game structure.
The third parameter is the commercial contribution of titles, assessed also through the ability of game mechanics to sustain user activity over time. TaDa Gaming placed its Hit the Cash proposal in this context, combining recognisable settings with features including jackpots, multipliers and Lock & Respin mechanics; representative products in the line include Coin of Lightning and Fortune Coins Unlimited Fortune. According to data communicated by the company, Fortune Coins Unlimited Fortune recorded a 160% increase in daily active users during an initial three-month period, a result the provider said confirms the potential of distinctive mechanics paired with familiar themes to sustain player interest.
The fourth indicator concerns the transferability of content between operators, audience segments and different geographic markets. TaDa Gaming said it assesses whether successful formats can be adapted to new contexts or whether specific products are needed for particular user categories. It cited its experience with the TriLuck series and Lucky in Latin America, the Fortune Zombie franchise in the United States and Gold Mine Express in European markets as a reference for decisions on localisation and new content development.
The fifth element is the capacity for continuing growth, which the company considers essential in determining a game's value over the medium and long term. The aim is to identify products that do not exhaust their commercial potential at launch but can progressively consolidate their presence in operators' catalogues. TaDa Gaming said it intends to continue developing its UK offering, focusing on differentiated content, analysis of market characteristics and constant monitoring of performance.
Sean Liu, Director of Product Management at TaDa Gaming, said: "Il lancio di un gioco è soltanto l'inizio. Per gli operatori, la domanda fondamentale è se quel titolo continui a meritare il proprio spazio nella lobby una volta superato l'interesse iniziale". Liu added that the company wants to offer operators distinctive content suited to their audience and able to give concrete reasons to return to play, while continuing to learn from post-launch performance data. In a competitive market such as the UK, he said, this continuous process is essential to building a successful content offering able to grow with the company's partners.
