SWG survey finds nearly half of Italians interested in regulated prediction markets
SWG’s seventh public-gambling report examines Italian gambling habits and views on prediction markets, based on online interviews with 3,011 adults conducted from 26 May to 8 June 2026. The report says 64% believe some risk is needed to achieve personal goals, while about half of Italians gamble at least occasionally and one in ten play frequently.
The findings offer operators and policymakers evidence on Italian gambling habits and potential interest in prediction markets if regulated.
