Superbet and Betano received approval to list their betting apps on Apple’s App Store in Brazil after Apple changed its guidelines to admit platforms accredited by the Ministry of Finance, according to the report. Superbet was listed first and became the store’s most-downloaded app during its first 24 hours; Betano joined days later. Neither company disclosed download totals.
Superbet has entered Greece after securing sports betting and online casino licences, according to the report. The operator has also built a local team in Athens.
Superbet said it plans to invest about €500 million in Greece over the next six years, covering technology, staff training, sports sponsorships and marketing. The company estimated it held about 7% of Greek betting stakes and reported October turnover of €270 million, figures it said referred to wagers rather than revenue.
In Greece, Superbet intends to invest about €500 million ($561 million) during the next six years while it grows in the country's regulated betting market. On Thursday the company said spending will be directed at sports sponsorships, technology, marketing, and training for employees.
Blask’s September 2026 analysis put Brazil at 57.8% of demand for online betting and gaming in Latin America, despite a 5.2% decline in its regional share. The company said regional demand fell 0.2%, while interest in licensed Brazilian brands dropped 82% between 25 September and 1 October after the fixed-odds betting ban. Blask said its indicators measure consumer interest and brand visibility, not revenue share or active bettors.

Brazil still supplied 57.8% of the region's online betting and gaming demand, holding first place.
