Stifel sees casino takeover bids supporting Penn valuation

Deals & M&A

Stifel analyst Jeffrey Stantial said proposed takeover bids for Caesars Entertainment and MGM Resorts International could support a valuation floor for Penn Entertainment. He estimated that applying rival valuation multiples to Penn’s 2026 guidance indicated fair value of $20–$30 per share, while Penn management’s main focus remained reducing debt.

The analyst’s valuation view may inform investor assessments of Penn amid proposed casino-sector takeovers.
