Spin Gaming Brasil and Casa de Apostas partnered on a live baccarat event in Brazil on 26 March, with influencer Thiago Massao dealing for an hour. Spin Gaming said its Spin Academy trained Massao for the appearance; Casa de Apostas COO Hans Schleier said the companies’ relationship began with the operator’s support for the project.

The event shows how a supplier and Brazilian operator used trained influencer participation to stage a live baccarat activation.

France's competition authority has approved Banijay's planned acquisition of casino operator Joa without conditions. The review, the authority's first of a gambling transaction spanning online and land-based operations, focused mainly on poker and concluded that the deal was unlikely to restrict competition. The authority said its assessment did not account for possible future legalisation of online casino games.
