Spillemyndigheden reminds Danish operators to assess money-laundering risks before changes

Regulation

Denmark’s Spillemyndigheden reminded licensed gambling operators on 11 June 2026 to assess money-laundering risks before introducing new technologies, products or services. The regulator said assessments should reflect the operator’s business model and cover relevant customers, products, transactions, distribution channels and geographic areas; new technology requires an update to existing assessments.

Operators must factor new products and technologies into anti-money-laundering risk assessments before commercial launch.
