Spain and Indonesia block Polymarket, with Spain also restricting Kalshi

Enforcement & compliance

Spain's Ministry of Consumer Affairs ordered access blocks for Polymarket and Kalshi, saying the platforms offer gambling without valid licences. Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Digital Technology said it had blocked Polymarket over alleged unlicensed gambling; Spain's blocks are due to be implemented within seven to ten days.
