SOFTSWISS became a member of Malta-based iGaming Executives Network (iGEN) in April 2025, the company said. It said the membership would allow it to contribute to discussions on operational and regulatory challenges in Malta and other European markets. SOFTSWISS also joined Brazil’s National Association of Games and Lotteries at the start of 2026.
The membership adds a technology supplier to an association representing iGaming interests in regulatory discussions.

SOFTSWISS hosted a LinkedIn Live panel on the economics of launching in African iGaming markets, with South Africa as the main case, the company said. Panellists said licensing is among the smaller costs, with localisation, certification, BEE requirements, payments and marketing taking most spending, and provincial approvals taking three to 12 months.
SOFTSWISS forecasts North American online gambling GGR will reach $76.6bn in 2028, compared with $58.1bn in 2026. Its iGaming Trends 2027 report projects North America will grow faster than other major online gambling markets through 2028.
SOFTSWISS has forecast that online gambling gross gaming revenue in North America will reach $76.6bn in 2028, up from $58.1bn in 2026, according to its iGaming Trends 2027 report. The company projects a 15% compound annual growth rate for the region over the period, the report said.
SOFTSWISS projects that global iGaming gross gaming revenue will reach approximately €461.8bn by 2031. The forecast appears in a trends report.
SOFTSWISS will attend SiGMA North America 2026 in Mexico City on 1-3 September. The company said it supports licensed gaming brands in Mexico with a compliant iGaming ecosystem and will discuss opportunities in the market.
It was reported that SOFTSWISS will host an online panel on 27 August. The discussion will cover market selection, licensing readiness, localisation and launch coordination.
