Sisal pays out first €1.2m Win for Italia Team jackpot to Rome player

Sisal has presented the first jackpot win of its daily Win for Italia Team lottery, worth €1,200,445.50, drawn on 28 September 2026 in Rome at the game's first contest. The winning "6" was matched by a Rome woman who chose to remain anonymous and be called "Miss Fortuna". The winning ticket was played at the Sisal Al Cafè Romano outlet on via Principe Amedeo 176 with the combination 10-12-19-24-33-34.

The winner, who described herself as a "multitasking secretary", said she had entered the outlet only to take a coffee when the promotional material for the new lottery caught her attention. She said she picked numbers at random, without a particular reason, and then went about her day without giving the entry much thought. She later heard media reports that someone had won the first jackpot and checked the result of her own play online.

After confirming the win, the woman kept the receipt at home in an ordinary place, she said, and shared the news only with close family. She said there was no large celebration, just a cake at home with relatives. She said she does not intend to make immediate purchases and prefers to set the money aside, taking time to decide how to use it.

The first Win for Italia Team jackpot was presented for collection a little over three weeks after the 28 September draw. The lottery is a new daily-draw game managed by Sisal and dedicated to Italian Olympic sport.
