Senate committee reviews football bills proposing sports betting ad rules
Italy’s Senate Culture Committee continued its joint review of three football and sports-system bills, according to a report. The Marcheschi bill proposes giving AGCOM authority to set time and content limits for sports betting advertising, while the Pirondini bill would allocate part of betting revenue to social and youth projects, women’s football and gambling-harm prevention.
The proposals could change sports betting advertising rules and direct part of betting revenues to specified projects.
