San Juan officials await approval of online gambling law regulations
San Juan officials are awaiting approval from the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Treasury for regulations implementing the city’s online gambling law, reportedly on 12 March 2026. Caja de Acción Social president Juan Pablo Medina said the provincial government would consider the regulations next; approval could allow authorities to form a task force to pursue illegal sites.
The regulations could enable a proposed task force to investigate illegal online gambling sites in San Juan.
