Russia launches national gambling self-exclusion register with 12-month minimum
Russia’s national self-exclusion system for gambling became operational on 1 September 2026, according to the report. People registered in the system cannot bet online, gamble at retail venues or enter casinos for at least 12 months, and operators may not accept their bets or allow them to play. Applications can be made through Gosuslugi or a Multifunctional Centre, with registration due within 12 hours.
Operators must check the register and refuse gambling access to registered customers under the new system.
