Rush Street Interactive reported 2025 revenue of $1.13bn, up 23% year on year, and net income of $74m, compared with $7.2m in 2024. The company said US and Canada monthly active users rose 37%, online casino users increased 51%, and it expects 2026 revenue of $1.375bn to $1.425bn.

RSI CEO Richard Schwartz said states could legalise online casino gambling at an accelerated rate. He linked the possibility to states seeking ways to replace sports-betting tax revenue that prediction markets might displace.
Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC) said a policy amendment will prohibit betting on political events in Alberta. The bulletin comes as the province prepares to launch its regulated gambling market. The report says the ban will differ from Ontario’s approach, where election betting is allowed.
The Alberta iGaming Corporation announced a partnership with the Responsible Gambling Council that will require RG Check accreditation for operators seeking licences in Alberta’s regulated market. Operators must maintain accreditation in good standing; the market is expected to launch in spring or summer, according to reporting.
Rush Street Interactive CEO Richard Schwartz said the company hopes to launch BetRivers in Alberta around the end of Q2 or early Q3. He said the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission had published regulations and opened licensing registration, and that RSI had applied for a provincial licence.
BetRivers announced a pre-registration platform for Alberta’s upcoming regulated online gambling market. Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis is handling operator registration, while the Alberta iGaming Corporation will finalise commercial agreements; the market is expected to open in spring or summer 2026.
