Robinhood reports $156m in event-contract revenue for second quarter
Robinhood reported $156m in revenue from event contracts in the second quarter of 2026, more than ten times the figure for the same period in 2025. The company also recorded 13.6 billion event-contract volumes during the quarter and said its Rothera exchange and clearing house, authorised by the CFTC, had passed 3.5 billion contracts traded. The report said Robinhood had not indicated that prediction markets were available to European users.
The reported growth offers betting operators and suppliers a measure of prediction-market activity, while European availability remains unconfirmed.
