Rio de Janeiro governor Cláudio Castro dismissed Hazenclever Lopes Cançado at his request and appointed Fabiola Esteves Rocha as Loterj president on 20 March. The change was published in an extra edition of the state’s official gazette. The report says Cançado plans to focus on a campaign for federal deputy.
The appointment changes leadership at Loterj after Cançado left the post at his request.

Minas Gerais governor Mateus Simões appointed Luciano França da Silveira Jr. as director-general of Loteria Mineira, with the designation published on 4 June. França replaces Onésimo Diniz Moreira, who left the post at his own request; the state also appointed Vanderlei Daniel da Silva as deputy director-general.

Washington State Gambling Commission said Governor Bob Ferguson appointed Victoria Woodards to the commission. Her appointment took effect on 21 July 2026.
