Queensland keeps UBET QLD as exclusive race and sports wagering licensee

Queensland's Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation says UBET QLD Limited currently holds the state's exclusive race and sports wagering licences. New licence applications cannot be considered until 30 June 2044, and race clubs may apply for on-course wagering permits at country racecourses.
The exclusivity and application restriction define the current route for wagering businesses seeking Queensland licences.
