PointsBet forecasts AU$113m first-half revenue as VIP controls curb activity
PointsBet expects group revenue of about AU$113 million for the six months ended 30 September, down from AU$135 million a year earlier, the company said in a trading update. It forecast a normalized EBITDA loss of AU$6 million to AU$8 million, attributing weaker performance to tighter compliance controls and lower activity among high-value customers; full results are due on 30 October.
Investors can assess weaker revenue and an expected loss alongside the effects of tighter compliance and lower high-value customer activity.
