PlayCity launches tool for reporting suspected illegal gambling advertising

Enforcement & compliance

Ukraine’s gambling regulator PlayCity launched an online system for citizens to report suspected illegal gambling advertising across digital, broadcast and public channels. PlayCity said it had imposed almost UAH80 million in related fines since its establishment 11 months earlier and blocked more than 500 social media pages; submitted complaints must include the platform type, a direct link and supporting material.

The system gives PlayCity a public channel to collect evidence for possible advertising-rule enforcement.
